[Text: "Another Daniel Jones who is not identified (But may have been a brother of captain Richard Jones appears as follows: 3 July 1715, Richard Gulls of Henrico County conveyed to Daniel Jones of James City County 500 acres of land in Henrico on Winterpock Branch (Hen Co. Rec. 1714-18 p.38). On MAy 3d 1736 Thomas Jones of Amelia County conveyed to Samuel Hancock of Henrico County for 40 lbs current money, 400 acres of land which was formerly taken up by Richard Gulls dec'd and conveyed by him 2 July 1715, to Daniel Jones, father of said Thomas Jones, Sarah wife of Thomas Jones relinquished dower rights.
