Sarah Maria Moodie, nee Moodie, eldest daughter of Thomas Moodie (leader of the Moodie Trek); married her cousin George Benjamin Dunbar Moodie at the house of Rev. Sylvester at Fort Victoria, who performed the ceremony. They spent their honeymoon at Zimbabwe Ruins (the first couple to do so), living in Cecil Rhodes' wagonette.
