Sarah (Lewis) Musick, d/o David & Ann (Terrell) Lewis, was married to Abraham Musick with whom she had eleven children:
- Terrell,
- Lewis,
- John,
- Joel,
- Sarah,
- Susanna,
- David,
- Jehoida,
- Ephraim,
- James and
- William Musick.
Sarah's father was John Lewis and he was born in Wales. He lived for a time in Denbigshire, England before coming to America.
Meriweather Lewis, of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, was related to Sarah family.
Abraham's father was George Musick and was born in Wales. At an early age he was picked up as an orphan. He knew nothing of his family, only that his name was George. He proved to be a very smart boy and extremely fond of music, so he was named George Musick. He was a loyal supporter of Charles 1 and when Cromwell came to power he left Wales and migrated to Virginia. He married but there is no information on his spouses name or where he was married.
