ELLIS. August 18, 1990 MOCKSVILLE. Mrs. Sattie Gough Ellis, 74 of Route 5, died early Thursday morning at the Winston-Salem Convelescent Center. She was born in Yadkin County, November 16, 1915 to J. C. and Cusianne Wilcox Hollar. She was a member of Huntsville Baptist Church. She was first married to Thad Gough, who died in 1955, then Robert Walker, who died in 1964, then to Roy Ellis, who died in 1981. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bobby (Helen) Hill of Winston-Salem, two sons, James and Tony Gough, both of Lewisville; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Eddleman, Yadkinville, Mrs. Ellie Howell, Mocksville, and Mrs. Eva Bonds, Kannapolis; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Mackie-Gentry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dennis Bell and Rev. Curman Sprinkle. Burial will follow in Deep Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
