(some of the names are spelled differently in the obituary) - his wife is spelled Kusilann on her gravestone
YADKINVILLE - James C. Holler. Feb. 24, 1962
James Cornelius Hollar of Yadkinville, Rt. 2, died at Yadkinville Hospital at 10:20 p.m. Saturday. He had been in declining health for several years and seriously ill for two weeks.
He was born to George W. and Menda Shoemaker Holler in Iredell County. He was a member of Lewis Baptist Church in Wilkes County. He was a retired merchant and farmer.
Mr. Hollar was married in 1886 to Cousan Wilcox who died in 1931.
Survivors include four sons, Richard and Arthur Holler, both of Yadkinville, Rt. 2, Roy Holler of Union Grove, Rt. 1, and E. D. Holler of Annapolis, four daughters, Mrs. Sattie Gough of the home, Mrs. Hattie Eddleman of Yadkinville, Rt. 2, Mrs. Eva Bonds of Annapolis, and Mrs. Ellie Howell of Mocksville, 54 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today at Deep Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. E. W. McMurray, the Rev. J. G. Allgood, the Rev. Blair Littles, and the Rev. Jimmy Groce. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
