Please do not add parents without proof. Currently we don't know who his parents were. NOTE: I removed Simone Pichereau (abt.1570-) as mother for Simon Pelletret (abt.1610-) and also removed Francois Pelletier (1570-) as father for Simon Pelletret (abt.1610-). We don't know who Simon's parents were.

Around 1640 Simon Pelletret married Perrine Bourg.[1] They were both very likely born in France. We do not know when they arrived in Acadia. They had two daughters: Henriette (1641- 1693) and Jeanne (1643-1706).

Simon likely received one of the first grants at Port Royal Acadia (Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, Canada).[1] He owned a lot adjoining the side of the old Fort (which, according to Stephen White was expropriated in 1705 to extend the Fort in Port-Royal and by then was presumably owned by one of his heirs).

He died before 1645 as Perrine married René Landry dit l'aîné around that time.
