SIR JAMES KER OF OXNAM AND CRAILING

Son of Sir Thomas Kerr 9th Baron of Ferniehirst and Lady Janet Scott. Husband of Mary Rutherford, daughter of James Rutherford, father of Robert Kerr. Second Lord of Jedburgh, succeeded his brother Andrew. He lived at Oxnam, Roxburghshire, Scotland, Crailing, Berwickshire, Scotland and held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Roxburghshire in 1630.
