• ' Sir Thomas Gamage was born circa 1490 at of Coity, Miskin, Glynrothney, Llandaff, & St. Morgan's, Glamorganshire, Wales.1,2 A settlement for the marriage Sir Thomas Gamage and Margaret St. John was made in 1497; They had 4 sons (Edmund; Robert, Esq; John; & Morgan) and 4 daughters (Katherine, wife of Thomas Stradling; Mary, wife of Matthew Herbert; Margaret, wife of Sir William, Lord Howard of Effingham; & Elizabeth, wife of Richard Wogan, Esq., & of Jenkin ab Owain Gwyn).1,7,2,8,6,4 Sir Thomas Gamage married Joyce Croft, daughter of Sir Richard Croft and Katherine Herbert, circa 1535 at of Croft Castle, Herefordshire, England; They had no issue.6 His estate was probated on 26 June 1543.6
