Sir William Gerard, 3rd Bt. is the son of Sir Thomas Gerard, 2nd Bt. and Frances Molyneux.2 He married Elizabeth Clifton, daughter of Sir Cuthbert Clifton.1

Royalist Civil War, gravely impoverishing himself thereby.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Gerard, of Bryn, co. Palatine of Lancaster [E., 1611] on 15 May 1630.1
