Tabitha was born about 1688. She is the daughter of Andrew Newcomb and Anna Bayes. [1]

Married Peter Ray, tailor, resided at Edgartown. Both were dead before Oct 1, 1731. They had 2 children: 1. Peter b. Jan 2 1710/11, m. "19th of sixth month" 1733 Elizabeth Nicholson. Resided in Nantucket; housewright. Sold in 1738 to Huxford Merchant, "all my right, title and interest in the island of Martha's Bineyard or Chappaquiddick... that descended to me by my mother, deceased". 2. Hannah b. Oct 16 1712, m. 1730/1 Samuel inney or Finley.
