Thomas Ewing "Revolutionary Tommy" Carson was the youngest son of John and Ann (Dixon) Carson. Thomas' siblings were: Ezkiel, Isabella, John, Mary, Ann and Susan Carson.
Thomas married Anna (Porter) on 3 Oct 1782 In Prince Edward Co., Virginia and of this union nine children were born. Namely: John Porter, Anna Porter Dixon, William Porter, Oliver Porter, Florence Porter, Rachel Porter, Nathaniel Porter and Francis Porter Carson.
“Descendants of Henry Hines, Sr” mentions a second wife in his will a MARY CARSON and her daughter Thompson (couldn’t find them on my papers). Their children listed on the will are: John P, Ann D Chapman (deceased), William, Thomas E (deceased), sonL, Alexander Chapman (deceased), Jane B widow of son, Thomas E Carson.
Thomas Carson served in the Revolutionary War from 1776 to 1788. Was in the following battles: Defeat of Bugoyne, Chestnt Hill and Trenton. Enlisted from Prince Edward Co., VA. Claim for pension was allowed 8 Oct 1832, Butler Co., KY. He was 72 at the time. He served under Capt Henry Terrell and Col Charles Scott Morgan, 5th VA Regiment. Will made 15 Jun 1838, probated, Feb term of Court, Butler Co., KY. Wife, Mary Carson, second wife maybe as he mentions dau Thompson. Son, John P, dau, Ann D Chapman (deceased), son, William Carson, son, Thomas E Carson (deceased), son-in-law, Alexander Chapman (deceased), Jane B carson, widow of son, Thomas E Carson.
Donated land to Little Muddy Presbyterian Church, school and cemetery. He received a land grant as compensation for his military service. His Son in law was Rev. Alexander Chapman, wife of Ann Dixon Carson. Alexander Chapman, preached to the Little Muddy congregation

Suggested edit: It seems that there is some mixing here between the children and siblings of Thomas Carson's wife, Ann Porter, d 1829. She had 7 siblings who seem to be included as children.
