Biography
Thomas was born around 1763 to Thomas Cordery, an innkeeper living in St. George's Parish in Georgia. His mother's name is not known.
He was a white man who married Sonicooie, a Cherokee full-blood, abt.1784-85. They had 8 children together: Sarah, Lucy, Nancy,Charlotte, David, Hettie, Early and Susan.
Sometime before 1820, Thomas left Sonicooie to marry another woman and at least one child, Shadrach Cordery, came from this marriage.
