About Early Cordery
Early was a Cherokee man
Biography
Early was born about 1804 in the part of the old Cherokee Nation now known as Bartow County, Georgia. He had a daughter named Nancy Angeline Cordery by a unknown mother.
In 1836, he was indicted for murder in Forsyth County, Georgia and fled to Texas to escape prosecution. In 1840 he married Charlotte Berryhill and their children were Sarah Ann and David. There was another daughter, Amanda, that may also have been Charlotte's.
