Many people believe that this Thomas Duke is the same as Thomas Duke . THIS Thomas Duke is believed to have been born in Kent, England while the other one is believed to be born in Devonshire, England. There is no concrete evidence found for either birth at this time. Until such time as proof of birth is found, these two profiles must be treated as separate people.

The other Thomas Duke was born c.1616 in Aylesford, Kent, England and died c.1655 in James City County, Virginia. He married Mary Hampton. There was at least one child, a son named Henry.
