On 14 April 1745, Sarah Ramsdale, wife of Gideon, was admitted to the Hanover First Church.; At the July 1764 Court, Gideon Ramsdell of Abington, yeoman, was charged with abandoning his wife and cohabitating with Ruth Palmer of Abington,widow, a person of ill fame. Abigail Ramsdell, wife of Gideon Ramsdell, appeared and said for more than a year she has been in great fear that Gideon, her husband, would take her life.; On 13 July 1812, the balance of Gideon's estate was divided among sonsJohn, Gideon, Micah, Noah, David and Thomas Ramsdell; the heirs of Job Ramsdell; Content Cudworth, Deborah Gurney an d Abigail Russell. Biography

Thomas Ramsden, son of Daniel Ramsden and his first unknown wife, was born probably at Plymouth in 1677 or earlier.<ref name=MD36 >Wakefield, Robert S. "The Ramsden Family of Plymouth, Mass." Proof that he was son of Daniel:<ref name=MD36 />*16 July 1702 Thomas Ramsdell of Duxbury and Edward May of Plymouth, husbandmen, sold 30 acres of Land in Plymouth at Lakenham [Plymouth County Deeds 18:99]. This is almost certainly the land that Joseph(1) Ramsden deeded to his son Daniel(2) Ramsden in 1673.*Other than John Ramsden (in Plymouth records) no other Ramsden familylived in Plymouth.*16 Dec 1735 contained in a petition for a grant for service in King Philip's war, under Middleborough is Daniell Ramsdell as the soldier grantee and Thomas his son as claimant. Of course Thomas was deceased in1727, but examining the list their are other men listed who were alsodead and it is concluded that the list was prepared in 1727. "He married Scituate 23 March 1702/3, at Scituate, Sarah _____*, b. c.1682; d. Hanover 4 Aug 1773 ae 91."<ref name=MF5 /> The *footnote says: "She is called Sarah Alverson, prob. dau. of Nicholas, in MF 1:26 The VR does not give her surname. LDS Archives say Sarah was born 5 March 1682. The reference is 'Family Bible - Dorothy Munson.' "
