I Thomas Webber of Richmond in the County of Surry late of Holborn in the Parish of Sant Giles in the ffields in the County of Middlesex Grocer do make publish and declare this my last Will and testament that is to say I give and bequeath unto my Brothers James Webber and to Leonard Webber each the Sum of Eight hundred pounds to be paid them respectively within six months next after my decease I also give and bequeath unto my Sister Mary Adams the Sum of two hundred pounds to be paid her within six months next after my decease to and for her own sole and separate use and benefit And I will and direct that her receipt alone notwithstanding her Coverture[?] shall be sufficient discharge to my Executors for the same I give and bequeath to my Executors herein after named the Sum of Six hundred pounds In Trust nevertheless that they and the Survivors and Survivor of them and his Executors and Administrators do and shall within one month next after my death lay out and invest that Sum in the public ffunds and do and shall from time to time receive and take the dividends Interest and profits thereof or to arise therefrom during the life of my said Sister Mary Adams and pay the same to her or her assigns or permit and suffer her or them to receive and take the same for her life to and for her own sole and separate use and benefit and that her receipt alone notwithstanding her Coverture shall from time to time be a sufficient discharge to my said Executors from the same and from and after her decease I give and bequeath the said Sum of Six hundred pounds or the Capital stock so to arise therefrom and all future Dividends Interest and profits thereof unto and amogst all and every the Children of my said Sister who shall be living at her death equally I also give and bequeath unto my Brother William Webber the Sum of Eight hundred pounds to be paid him

within Six months next after my decease provided nevertheless if my said Brother William shall happen to die before the said Legacy to him shall become payable it is my Will and I hereby give and bequeath the same to and among the children of said Brother James who shall be living at the said Brother William's death equally I also give and bequeath unto the Children of my said Brothers Leonard and James who shall be living at my decease one hundred pounds each to be paid them as and when they shall respectively attain the age of twenty one years but if any of them shall happen to died before attaining that age I give such Legacy and Legacys of him her or them so dying to and among their surviving Brothers and sisters respectively equally I also give and bequeath unto the two Children of my said Sister Mary Adams two hundred pounds each to be paid them as and when they respectively attain twenty one years of age but either of them happen to die before attaining that age I give the Legacy of such of them so dying to the survivor of them I also give and bequeath unto the Daughter of my Niece Mary Asford the Sum of one hundred pounds to be paid ber at her age of twenty one years or day of Marriage which shall first happen and it is my Will and I direct that the said several Legacies of one hundred pounds each to the Children of my said Brothers James and Leonard and of two hundred pounds each to the Children of said Sister Adams and of one hundred pounds to the Daughter of my said niece Mary Asford shall with all [?] [?] after my Death be laid out or onvested in the public ffunds in the names of my Executors And that they and the Survivors and Survivor of them his Executors and Administrators shall stand and be possessed thereof In Trust nevertheless to receive and take the Dividends and Interest thereof and to arise therefrom and pay and apply the same to and for the maintenance and Education of my said Brothers James and Leonards and Sister Mary Adams's children and of the Daughter of my said Niece Asford respectively and in proportion to their Interests therein until their said Legacies shall become payable and then to transfer or assign to them respectively his her and their said Legacy and Legacies and all benefit and increase thereof I give and bequeath unto my said Niece Mary Asford one hundred pounds to be paid her within one month next after my death I also give and bequeath unto Elizabeth and Ann Englehart the daughter of Mr John Dillman Englehart one hundred pounds each I also give and bequeath unto Richard Walsh my late apprentice ten pounds for a Ring[?] and to Mr Job Gardner of Richmond aforesaid five pounds for a Ring[?] I also give and bequeath to my Executors hereinafter named fifty pounds each for their trouble in the Execution of the Trusts of my Will and I give and devise unto William Cox Dillman Englehart Son of the said John Dillman Englehart and to his heirs and assigns for ever All that my ffreehold Estate in the parish of Croydon i the Said County of Surry known by the name of Dibbesfield and now or late in the Tenure or Occupation of the Widow Earnshaw and I hereby give and bequeath all these me Messuages or Tenements with their appurtenances situate standing and being in Holborn in the said parish of Saint Giles and all my Estate Term and Terms of years therein unto my Executors herein after named and the Survivors and Survivor of them his Executors and Administrators In Trust nevertheless to sell and dispose thereof for the best price and prices that can be had or gotten for the same the better to enable them to raise and pay the several Legacies by me herein before given and bequeathed and I direct that the purchasors shall not be obliged to see to the application of the purchase money and I also direct that the Residue of such purchase Money shall be considered as part of the Residue of my Personal Estate All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Real and personal Estates of what nature soever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath the same to and amongst my said Brothers James Leonard and William Webber and my Sister Mary Adams their heirs assignes and Administrators as Tenant in common and I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother James Webber the said John Dillman Englehart and Mrs Thomas Best of Holborne in the said parish of Saint Giles in the ffields joint Executors of this my Will. And I direct that it shall and may be lawful for my said Executors to deduct or retain to themselves all such Sum and Sums of Money Costs Charges as they or any of them shall or may pay sustain or be put unto in or about the Execution of this my Will and the Trusts reposed in them and that they shall not be answerable or accountable any more of the Trust promises than what shall come to their respective hands or for any Loss in placing the same out or with or for the acts deeds defaults or receipts of the other or others them but each of them with or for his own proper acts deeds defaults and receipts only their joining in Receipts for conformity nothwithstanding nor with or for any involuntary Loss or damage and I hereby revoke all former and other wills by me made in Witness whereof I hace to this my Will contained in four sheets of paper set my hand to the first three sheets and my hand and seal to the fourth sheet thereof the fourteenth day of July one thousand seven hundred and seventy four.
