Tillie Buss, age 82, 635 West Court St., (Beatrice, NE) died Tuesday, March 16, in a local hospital. She was born May 24, 1893, near Pickrell and lived on a farm NW of Beatrice until 1947. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors: sons, Paul J. and Reinhart H., both of Long Beach, California; daughters, Mrs. Henry (Esther) Haarberg of Wauneta, Nebraska, Mrs. Robert (Lydia) Clifford of San Mateo, California, Mrs. Ralph (LaVerna) Woodhead and Mrs. John (Fern) Young, both of Long Beach, California, and Mrs. William M. (Pat) Rice and Mrs. Charles E. (Eddie) Krueger, both of Beatrice; sisters, Mrs. Harm Reins of Beatrice and Mrs. William Bischoff of Wauneta; brothers, John and Fred Doetker, both of Wauneta; 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Tillie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 1969; one son, John; three brothers and one sister; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 2 p.m. on Saturday at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Verdell Tassler. Burial: Evergreen Home Cemetery. Body in state at the church one hour preceding service. Family Prayer service at 1:45 Saturday in the church basement. Memorial to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church School. Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel.
