Timothy Field, Sr. Birth: Mar. 12, 1744-Madison New Haven County Connecticut, USA Death: Jan. 1, 1818 Madison New Haven County Connecticut, USA He married Anna Dudley on 25 November 1767 in Guilford, Connecticut. He served in the Lexington, Massachusetts Alarm. He was part of the Connecticut Continental militia during the Revolutionary War. He was a private in Captain Andrew Ward's Company and later served as a lieutenant in the 7th Regiment under Colonel William Worthington. He was a lieutenant in Captain Peter Vail's Company of Connecticut Coast Guards, which protected Long Island Sound. He achieved the rank of Captain. He was a farmer and held several local offices in Madison, Connecticut.
