Unknown Son Dye was probably born between 1816-1820 in Kentucky. There is a male age 0-9 who is this son in the household of Peter Dye on the 1820 census of Mount Carmel, Fleming, Kentucky. His father died in 1822 and his mother died in 1825. He is probably the unknown male, age 10-14, who is listed in the household of his brother Lawrence Dye on the 1830 census of Fleming Co., Kentucky. This son is possibly the Thomas Dye who married Elizabeth Graham in Mason Co., Kentucky in 1837, but that is not for sure. There is not a male in Lawrence's household in 1840 the age to be this brother.
