Horst Luftschitz-11/24/2018: I knew his daughter "Eva Mrackova", Who lived with her husband in Horni Slavkov near Karlovi Vary-Karlsbad. Her father died in Kaufering near Augsburg. The Nazis built there an underground airplane factory. The prisoners lived in "lodges in a burrow", digged by himself. So many of them died by coldness and starvation. Kaufering was a subcamp of Dachau.- Kaufering is today a Holocaust Memorial: Viktor Lüftschitz-name is on a stone wall. I was there with Eva and her family at the dedication ceremony. Eva Mrackova told me that she and two of her girl-friends survived together Auschwitz; the 2 Girl-friends lived in Israel.1942 she was in Terezin, then in Freiberg and then in Mauthausen where she was discharged 1945. http://stevemorse.org/dachau/details.php?lastname=L%C3%9CFTSCHITZ&f...
