Wesley S. Hershberger

OAK HILL — Wesley S. Hershberger, 56, of Oak Hill, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 22, 2017, very suddenly from a heart attack at his home.

He was born in Holmes County on Jan. 29, 1961, to Simon S. and Ada S. (Yoder) Hershberger, and was married to Verba J. Yoder. She survives.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Verba, are children, Paul (Melissa) Hershberger of Scottown, John (Sevilla) Hershberger of Oak Hill, Simon (Dora) Hershberger of Gallia County, Anna Hershberger of Huntington, W.Va., Andy (Rebecca) Hershberger of the home, Samuel (Mary) Hershberger, Jacob (Catherine) Hershberger and Elizabeth (Owen) Mast, all of Oak Hill, Miriam (Jr.) Byler of Carrolton, Daniel (Edna) Hershberger and Katie (Eli) Weaver, both of Oak Hill, and Wesley of the home; and 44 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada S. Hershberger; and a daughter, Ruth.
