About Wilhelmina Hermina Doubell

Source: Wilhelmina Hermina Doubell nee Mattheus's Estate Papers; Depot: KAB; Source: MOOC; Vol. No.: 6/9/9433; Ref. No.: 81319; and FamilySearch.org

Note that Wilhelmina's Estate Papers do not name her daughter Johanna Steyn nee Doubell; Wilhelmina's Will does, however, name an adopted son, Charles Ernest Butler (born on 4 Dec. 1921), who was bequeathed several items of furniture.

It seems likely, from the attached baptismal doc for her son Harry Arthur Doubell in the Uitenhage NGKerk on 25 Dec1896, that Wilhelmina Mattheus is the daughter of the two witnesses: Hendrik Petrus Mattheus and Salomina Catharina Mattheus. I would, however like confirmation of the relationship before I add it. [Sharon April 2015]
