About William M Bilyeu, Jr
OBIT:
William Bilyeu, an old resident and pioneer, died Wednesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Hochspier of this city.
The deceased was 75 years of age, being born in the year 1832 [1839], in the State of Missouri. He came to Oregon in company with six brothers in 1852 and settled in the country surrounding Scio, in this county.

OBIT 2:
The funeral of William Bilyeu was held at Scio yesterday. Father Lane conducting the service. He as a pioneer of 1852, 74 years of age, residing most of the time near Scio until coming to Albany several years ago to service the county as janitor of the courthouse.
He leaves seven children, J. A., and Otto of Crabtree, Cleve Bilyeu and Mrs. Fred Hochspier of Albany, Mrs. Rose Kinzer of Crabtree, Charles Bilyeu of Dallas. Several accompanied the remains to their last resting place from this city.
