Took over the family farm in Mance, PA
Family cemetery on meadow land on the former William Bauman farm, later the Peter Felker farm, and in 1885 the Leora Deist farm. Daniel and Catherine (Burbach) Bauman originally lived on the farm where the cemetery was started in 1832. They owned a vast estate straddling both Northampton and Larimer Townships. Two of their 13 children and numerous grandchildren are buried in the cemetery. Their children included the seven "bearded" Bauman Brothers, pictured in various historical publications. Possibly the last burial in the cemetery.
