William Dusenbury (1731-1815) who married Sarah Lane. The will of William of Bedford, New Purchaser, dated 1774, was witnessed by Peter Dusenbury, Enoch Honeywell and Miike Bassett. At the County Clerk’s office at Poughkeepsie, New York, on June 15, 1782, there is a record of purchase by William Dusenbury of certain land from Benjamin Robinson. This land consisted of 305 3/4 acres and was later owned by Williams’ great grandchildren, the Haddens and their father, Gilbert Hadden. Gilbert Hadden was living on August 3, 1873, having been born January 2, 1804, and having married Mary Jane Dusenbury, then eighteen years of age, on May 15, 1830.
