An old and highly respected resident of Tamworth died on Saturday night last at his residence, Fitzroy-street, in the person of Mr. William Kinsman Evans, at the ripe age of 8O years. Deceased, who had not been enjoying the best of health of late, had re sided in South Australia before settling down in ' this portion ' of the State. He is survived by a wife and a large family of children, including the following:

— Mrs. S. R. Walker. (West Tamworth), Mrs. F. Parsons (Oxley), Mrs. W. M Ritchie, Mrs. S. Knowles, Mrs. Woods (Appleby), Mr. C. H. Evans (Bective), Mr. William Evans (Appleby) , and Mr. Albert Evans.
