4. Obituaries, Unkown Newspaper, date and publication. "Switz City man, 83 years old, died at his residence on Switz City R. 1 at 8:49 o'clock Friday morning. He had been seriously ill since tuesday. He was born on Nov. 1 1874, in Illinios, and was the son of Jacob and Susannah Rosenbarger Overman. He had lived in the Switz City community for 21 years. Mr. Overman was a retired farmer and a member of the Richland Baptist Church. Mr. Overman is survived by the wife, Mrs. Artiemacia Jane Overman; two daughters Mrs. Raymond Lynn, of Dugger, R. 1 and Mrs. Walter Figg, of Dugger; two sons, Orell Overman of Switz City R. 1. and Lowell Overman of Shelbyville; two sisters Mrs. Maggie Workman of Brazil, and Miss Belle Overman of California; 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Two sons Patrick and Russell,preceeded him in death. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Walnut Grove Church. The Rev. Maurice Clymore officated at services, and burial was made in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Jenkins & sons were in charge of arrangements."
