* #2 [pg 203] 19 August 1787, William Tennis, Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County, advertises that his apprentice, James McCallister, ran away. He is 22 yrs. old, of Irish ancestry, but was reared in a German Family.;
* #3 buried at Lukens-Tennis Cemetery, Towamencin Twp., Montgomery co., Pa., from Kulpsville at Sumneytown Pike, go north on Forty Foot Rd. to Allentown Rd., (This is the approximate location of the Tennis home, in the early 18th century, this was called Drake's Corner. The Lukens family was to the north toward Hatfield). Turn left on Allentown Rd., go approximately 1/4 mile to cemetery on the left side of Allentown Rd.;
- #4 July 6, 1831: Died on Tuesday evening the 28th ult., William Tennis of Towamencing township, in the 84th year of his age.
