Sir William Latimer, 2nd Lord Latimer Governor of Rockingham Castle; Governor of York; fought at Bannockburn in 1314. He was born before 1277; Age 40+ in 1317.4

He married Lucy de Thwenge, daughter of Sir Robert de Thwenge and Maud Hansard, before 20 April 1295; They had 1 son (Sir William, 3rd Lord Latimer).2,4 Lucy de Thwenge filed for divorce from Sir William Latimer, 2nd Lord Latimer before 22 September 1304; Applied to the Archbishop Thomas of Cambridge for a divorce on grounds of consanguinity in the 4th degree, as well as cruelty.4

He married Sibyl de Fourneux, daughter of Sir Richard de Fourneux, before 18 August 1314; They had 1 son (Sir Thomas).5,6,4

Sir William Latimer, 2nd Lord Latimer died on 27 February 1327; Buried in Guisborough, Yorkshire.

Baron Latimer

Son of William Latimer, the 1st Baron Latimer of Corby and Alice Ledet of Corby, born at Danby Manor, Scrampton, Malton, North Yorkshire. Grandson of Sir William Latimer, Sheriff Yorkshire and Walter Ledet. His father fought at the Battle of Sterling, Battle of Falkirk and the Siege of Caerlaverock. He was born circa 1276

William married Lucy Thweng, daughter and heiress to Sir Roger Thweng. They had two sons:
