Yvonne Tidwell

Yvonne Wimberly Tidwell of El Campo died Nov. 28, 2010 at the age of 77. She was born April 1, 1933 in Flo to David and Sara O'Brady Wimberly. She was a savings and loan bookkeeper for 30 years, retiring in 1986. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, lead youth groups and participated in the Emmaus community.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Tidwell of El Campo; daughters, Tammy Morris and husband James of Lane City and Lisa Krauskopf and husband Kenneth of San Marcos; grandchildren, Whitney, Sierra and Tori Krauskopf and sister, Edna Earle Edwards of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Brady Wimberly and sisters, Bernice Wesatzke, Mary Druschel and Ann Sheppard.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Triska Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Storey officiating and the Rev. Suzanne Isaacs assisting. Interment will follow at Lake View Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kenneth Krauskopf, James Morris, Lee Sheppard, John Sheppard, Jerry Brooks and LeeRoy Krauskopf.
