The Baha'i Faith is the youngest of the world's independent monotheistic religions. Its founder, Baha'u'llah (1817-1892) was a member of one of the great patrician families of Persia. It emphasizes the spiritual unity of all humankind.
In the Bahá'í Faith, religious history is seen to have unfolded through a series of divine messengers such as Abraham, Jesus, Muhammad, the Buddha and others, and most recently the Bahá'u'lláh. Humanity is understood to be in a process of collective evolution, and the need of the present time is for the gradual establishment of unity on a global scale leading to peace and justice for all mankind.
The focus of this project is to map out Bahá'u'lláh's family tree.
