Take Highway 17A from Summerville, [Dorchester County] S.C. where Highway 78 crosses it, toward Walterboro, S.C. for 3.5 miles. The Boone Hill United Methodist Church is located on the left side of the highway, after passing the Summerville Cemetery on the right. The cemetery is located across the road next to Summerville Cemetery. The church cemetery is enclosed in the old church yard surrounded by a fence. A dirt road separates the two cemeteries with several grave sites outside the fence area. If traveling from Walterboro on 17A, continue through the red light at Old Orangeburg Road and Highway 17A for three quarters of a mile. The Summerville High School will be on your right, just before the church.
