Project Objective

The objective of this project is to find all of the living descendants of 8 Pierce boys from Canandaigua, NY in the mid-1800s:

1. William Eugene Pierce
2. Robert Melvin Pierce
3. Daniel Webster Pierce
4. Thomas Benton Pierce
5. William Henry Pierce
6. James Hamilton Pierce
7. George Washington Pierce
8. Henry Leighton Pierce

Project Goals

1. The first goal is to try and track down all of the descendants
2. Secondly, I'd want to meet as many of the descendants as possible, which means tracking down their current location and/or contact information. If this is a wild success, I'd love to hear about other descendants getting together and getting to know each other.
3. I'd like to make this a living tree by gathering photos and stories of as many of the descendants as possible.
4. The final, ultimate goal for this project would be to have a giant Pierce family reunion in Canandaigua. The last known reunion was over 100 years ago in 1907.
