Yamburgsky Uyezd (wikipedia)
Yamburgsky Uyezd (Russian: Ямбургский уезд) was one of the eight subdivisions of the Saint Petersburg Governorate of the Russian Empire. Its capital was Yamburg (Kingisepp). Yamburgsky Uyezd was located in the westernmost part of the governorate (the westernmost part of present-day Leningrad Oblast together with the city of Narva, which is part of Estonia).
Jaama Parish / Yamburg, Kingisepp
The date of foundation of the independent German-Finnish-Estonian parish in Yamburg is considered to be 1823, when the management of the local cotton factory satisfied the workers' request for provision of premises for worship. After the closure of the factory in 1930, the community received permission to hold services in a Catholic school.
In 1860, with the money of parishioners from a public auction, a plot of land with wooden buildings was purchased, which had previously belonged to the county treasurer Openkin. In the house located on the north side, a church was built, consecrated on March 10, 1863 in the name of St. Lazarus. In 1873-1880. the church was expanded and a bell tower was added to it. According to the documents of the Central State Administration of St. Petersburg, in a secret directive of the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs of the USSR dated February 4, 1931, sent to the Presidium of the Leningrad Regional Executive Committee, it was reported: "For political reasons, the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs considers the closure of the Lutheran Church in Kingisepp undesirable." After an unsuccessful attempt to completely liquidate the Lutheran parish, the city authorities initiated the eviction of the parishioners from the building of the Church of St. Lazarus. In April 1931 g. The Kingisepp District Executive Committee petitioned the Regional Executive Committee for permission to move the Lutherans to the cemetery church. And, feeling the persecution of local authorities from the Church of St. Lazarus (part of which was already occupied by a German school), the parishioners themselves asked to be moved to an Orthodox church in the cemetery. The building has not survived.
Pastors: Constantin Hunnius 1855-1868, Georg Hoffmeister 1869-1887, Johann-Edward-Robert Herschelman 1888-1908, Johann-Eduard Schwindt from 1908, Lev Schultz 1921-1931.
In connection with the increase in the Estonian population in September 1882, an independent Estonian parish emerged from the community. The building for the own church of St. Lazarus and the school were equipped by parishioners in 1906–1907. The church was closed for services on March 2, 1923, liquidated on September 24, 1925, the premises were transferred to the school.
Parish Moloskovitsa / Moloskovitsy, White Church
The parish of Moloskovits is one of the oldest parishes in Ingermanland, but since the exact date of its origin is unknown, the time of the formation of the community is considered to be the 30s. XVII century In the XIX century. Moloskovits had two drip parishes: Novasolkka (in 1759–1834) and Unaditsa. Also at the beginning of the XX century. there were also two parsons. When the ethnic composition of the inhabitants began to change, Unaditsa and Novasolkka gained independence, and difficulties with the priests appeared in Moloskovitsa.
The parish stone church for 400 people, the oldest in the region, was erected .... (.. km from Moloskovitsy) in 1632 from white limestone, therefore it had the name "White Church (church)". From the beginning of 1874, regular services began in Estonian, since in the second half of the 19th century. a lot of Russian and Estonian population moved to the territory of the parish.
In 1877, parishioner Mikkeli T. Harju organized the construction of a brick bell tower and donated 7,000 rubles. to restore the pickaxe. There were other donations from the local population, for example, Penmi Kekki with his son Juhani in 1901 gave 8000 rubles to the church.
In 1902, the temple was overhauled according to the drawings of the Probst Palander, a steep metal roof in the Gothic style appeared, and stoves were installed.
The temple was inactive since August 1937 and was closed in October 1938.
In 1890 a Sunday school worked in Moloskovitsa (under the present E. Gustafsson).
The Finnish branch church in the village was assigned to the Moloskovitsky parish. Zimititsa, formed in the 19th century. It closed in the 1930s.

XVII в. В XIX в.

Asukoht
Jamburgi maakond asus Venemaa loodeosas Peterburi kubermangus ning piirnes põhjas Peterhofi, idas Tsarskoje Selo, lõunas Luga ja Gdovi maakonna ja läänes Eestimaa kubermanguga.
