The Evergreen cemetery, in the Woodville section of Hopkinton, sits on 7.7 acres. It has been owned by the town since its establishment in 1812.
There are 4 Revolutionary War Veterans and 65 Civil War Veterans buried here. The earliest burial is that of Barchias Morse in 1805.
Today, the main entrance is on Wood Street, between the heavy square gateposts of a 1922 rough granite wall.
