Arrived in South Africa 1829 with his family.

Transporter in Graaff-Reinet, later Kimberley and Vryburg. Married firstly Charlotte Maria Jacobs; secondly Maria Margaret ? and thirdly Dorothea Maria Hartman

There is also Johan Holweg who went to South Africa from Finland - page 215 SAF v16.
