"John Pirie" (Ship) - Colonists to South Australia in 1836

The small ship John Pirie left London on February 22nd via the Downs, Falmouth and Dartmouth with Captain George Martin, arriving Nepean Bay (Kangaroo Island) August 16th, 1836. Persons on board - 28 passengers (23 adults - employees of the Company, and 5 children), and a crew of 10.
