A sororal (or women's) organization is an organized society of women associated together in an environment of companionship and sisterhood. Dedicated to the intellectual, physical, spiritual, and/or social development of their members, sororal groups also conduct charitable work. They are also known in some locations as "benevolent societies."
NOTE: For Greek-letter fraternal organizations, commonly known as "sororities" in the United States, see the Greek Organizations Portal. For academic and professional honor societies, see the Honorary Societies Portal. For men's organizations, see the Fraternal Organizations Portal.
Goal
This portal is intended to be the gateway to all sororal organization projects on Geni. The goal is to make sub-projects of the individual organizations as warranted.
Groups that admit men as well as women are listed if they are typically associated with women.
Please consider starting a sub-project as needed.
