Union Cemetery, in Newton Township, is also known as Old Union Cemetery, Union Joint Cemetery, or Old Ludlow Cemetery (Not to be confused with The Old Ludlow Cemetery in Laura). It is east of State Route 48 on Horseshoe Bend Road, then back a long lane running north, in a field. It is in the southeast quarter of Section 32. Many of the early burials were Quakers. The early meeting houses and adjoining cemetery were built on five acres of the farm of Marmaduke Coate and his wife Mary Jane Coppock. The land was deeded to the Union Meeting Trustees in 1813.
This cemetery is located on 7001 Horseshoe Bend Road, Ludlow Falls, Miami County, Ohio.
