Catharina Maria Booyens was the daughter of : Marthinus Gert Booyens (Booysen) and Catharina Maria Rensburg. She was married twice, firts husband was: JacobusAbraham Adriaan Botes. With him, she had 7 children namely: Jurgens Botes, Anna susanna Minnaar (nee Botes), Johanna Martha Maria Henning ( nee Botes), Magdalena Catharina Botes, Jacobus Abraham Adriaan Botes, Nicolaas Lourens Botes, Hester Catharina Botes. She then thereafter got married to William Henry Lazenby.
