Brockmann family may descend from Membrok alias Bernbrok prince of Kumania in today's Moldova who was converted to christianity from paganism ( judaism that time in fashion there ) in about 162 that is according to a counting of supposed british origin that began in 1065 b.c. in 1227.
He,as fourth dignity in Kumania might have been a close relative of Kuthen that is of Salamon Senior Aleman, and his name ( Men-Brok ) may correspond to later Mendel/Mandel Baruk and also to Bernhard in use until today.
