About the Traill surname

The Traill original names De Treyl or Traille is a very old family dating back to about 1060's with recorded information in tact. This name and the family carry some very meaningful Traills with it. John Traill the Old Laird of Blebo responsible for the Blebo Fife lines all over the world including New Zealand and Australia not leaving out South Africa and many other places. They were of the church, scientists in various fields and many married into the Royal lines of the Kings and Queens of Scotland and Enlgand. Princess Dianna may she rest in peace is a direct line descendant of John Traill the Laird of Blebo and Agnus Bruce as is many people on Geni. They were her 12th Great Grandparents.
