I seriously doubt that her given names were "Amy Anne Amy". Every other source I can find says they were "Amy Ann". Any objection to changing her name to that?

I am wondering if the 'e' at the end is the correct spelling. Seems that Anne was more usual spelling back then.

Middle names were not in use. To me its uncertain records whether her name was Anne or Amy, Anne of course being far more frequent, and I've seen in town Vital Records as .... An. :(

For what this source is worth

http://archive.org/stream/descendantsofrev00hook#page/n17/mode/2up

(a handwritten notation that "Somersby is unreliable" which I found amusing)

There is nothing to support a name of Amy.

Her name is shown as Ann or XX. Anna is also used in the family.

I didn't have a middle name the day I was born, so when I got older, I took my father's name as my middle name.
