Has anyone ever tried to Catalog all this into a ref Document so it would be easy to find the referances that apply to the profile your researching?

I'm reading this book at the moment (for my book about Anglo-Indians), and I have been astonished at how gossipy it is!! But this is a good thing, because in it, George, Lord Carew, updates Sir Thomas Roe as to births, marriages, deaths, etc. For example, there is a reference to twins being born to the Countess of Argyle (letter dated January 1615), which event I am not sure has been documented in the Peerages? :)

Thanks Hatte. I was gone for 5 weeks, touring and researching in the British Isles, especially Ireland. Saw lots of Butler family sites, and found a little about my immediate family at the National Library in Dublin. Just didn't have enough time to do lots of research. Yes, there's one old lady who was officially recorded as 'pauper' on one of the mid-1800's UK census records, and resident in a workhouse!

Erica, a lot of people who are said to be "buried" there actually just have small memorial plaques. Just something to keep in mind if you do a Westminster project.
