Between 1828 and 1836, from the age of about 47, he was a Chief of Frau Sichrovsky's firm.

He was otherwise particularly known as an owner & head of a weaving factory in Sechshaus, Wien, for cotton, wool, silk and table-linen. (examples of such items belonging to the family are shown here ...)

His last address is listed as Stadt 379, Salvatorgasse 6.

Adolph was buried on 8 June 1855 in Wien, Währinger Friedhof: 1668/4-900.

“ALS EHRENMANN HOCHGEACHTET UND BETRAUERT. ALS LIEBEVOLLE VATER VON SEINEN KINDERN VIEL BEWEINT. “

(“As man of honour mourned with great respect. As loving father by his children so bewept.”)

And, indeed, Adolph is described by his father-in-law Bernhard OPPENHEIMER, as being "an honest and honourable man".

This detail - along with the confirmation, as already suspected, that his original name was Avraham/Abraham - thanks to Jerusalem cousin Avraham who is kindly sharing biographical snippets with me that are contained in Bernhard OPPENHEIMER's 1829 book "Mei Be-er".
