There were several cased on the Nelson Court Docket in 1799, the cases were dismissed due Paul "having departed this life" One of the cases was against a John Clark, after the cases was dismissed against Paul Froman, Mr. Clark as for the case to be "revived" - reopen again the heirs of Paul From. Additional Information

Nelson County Circuit Docket May 1799, page 128 - James Porter vs Paul Froman - "It being suggested to the court that the defendant hath departed this life, it is therefore ordered that this suit be abated."

Nelson County Circuit Court Docket Sept 1799, page 141 John Clark vs Paul Froman - "It being suggest to the court that the Defendants severally have departed that these suits be abated"

In Nelson County Circuit Court on July 1800, John Clark reopened "revive" the above case against the heirs of Paul Froman

Found John Clark vs Paul Froman , Nelson County Orders Book B page 238, July 24 1800

John Clark Complainant against Paul Froman Defendant In Chancery

"It appearing to the Court that the said Paul Froman hath departed this life and that Isaac Froman, John McGee, and Elizabeth his wife, Patrick McGee & Rachel his wife, Jacob Froman, John Froman, Robert Anderson & Sarah his wife" William Cotton and Christena his wife, Paul Froman, James Bruce and Mary his wife , Heirs & legal representatives of the said Paul Froman deceased. Herefore on the motion of the complainant by his counsel it is order that a Bill of Revive be filed against the said heirs & representatives and that this suit be the same Plight & Condition that it was at the death of the said Paul Froman."

Same case is listed in the Nelson County Court Minutes - 1790 -1805 Clark vs Froman 23 Nov 1800.

Paul Froman is listed as deceased. Those mention are Isaac Froman, John McGee - Eliza wife, Patrick McGee - Rachel his wife, Jacob Froman, John Froman, Robert Anderson - Sarah his wife, William Cotton, Christina his wife , Paul Froman, James Bruce and wife Mary, heirs and representatives of Paul Froman deceased.

This also proves that Rachel Forman - is not the daughter of Jacob Hite Froman Sr. as was put in a SAR application. All of evidence and documentation support Rachel as the daughter of Paul.

His daughter, Mary, marriage bond from May 1799 also list him as deceased.

There no documents showing John Paul "Paul" Froman "II" as living after 1799! There are no tax documents, deed,.... I believe that some researchers have confused his son Paul with him. John Paul "Paul" never lived in Spencer County, Kentucky; Spencer County did not exist until 1824.
