Carol Gorman Glaser

Chris Rout, 2 Dec 2015: "I have a copy of Carol Kreinik’s death certificate and Will dated October 7, 1976, as well her driver’s license. Her mother's name on the death certificate and drivers license is "Ruth Gorman" (not Goldman). I don't know if her mother had changed her name or just used Gorman. She [Carol] was born on November 22, 1934 and died at age 46 on February 7, 1982 at Southhampton Hospital, Southhampton, NY. from lung cancer (which she had for 9 months) and cardiopulmonary arrest (which she had for 5 minutes).

The certificate states that she was never married and was a real estate broker and lived on Noyac Road, Sag Harbor, NY. She gave specific devises to 3 charities of the amount she had in a savings account at Sag Harbor Savings Bank but no mention of the amount: American Cancer Society, United Jewish Appeal and The Burn Unit of Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx. The rest to Munro. Munro was named Executor."

I’m pretty sure we’re barking up the wrong tree with regard to Carol ever marrying. All of my documentation and family / friend’s accounts corroborate that as well. I will continue to investigate, of course.

Something interesting I found among Munro’s possessions was a woman’s University of Miami graduation ring inscribed CGK, graduating in 1965 with a BS in Bio. So she was over 30 when she graduated. I contacted UM and they confirmed. Her address while she was at UM was a residence in Rosemead, CA, where Munro also lived at the time. Chris Rout, Dec 1, 2015.
