This may not be the right birth year for Chaim who is the father of Anna and Pinia /Pauline Berger.

Stanley told me that there is more to his story. He died earlier than 1942. "Chaim, my father's brother, failed in business, and his creditors put him into jail. My father said, "pay the creditors or they'll put you in jail. I'll lend you the money."His brother said, "My partner will help." His partner didn't help and he hung himself in jail with the tvillin."
Ruth Kreinik says: My info is hazy. I think grandfather's name was Chaim (Herb named after him) and I think I'm named after the grandmother. Not sure. (December, 2011)
Ruth later, Feb 22, 2013: "I'm assuming that Stanley Kreinik confirmed that my brother Herb (husband of Betty, living in West Virginia) was named after our paternal grandfather, Chaim. Herb's Hebrew name is Chaim. Stan told me you were asking and indicated that he wanted to respond to you directly so that was fine with me.
Now regarding Sedziszow, I only know that this little town is where my father, Morris was born. I don't know anything about the Sedziszow Project but do have a photograph somewhere of a monument. I'll definitely follow the links you sent. I believe Herb would also be interested."
