My grandfather was Isidore, son of Tobias and Frimet Kreinik. He was born in Sedziszow Malapolski about 7 miles NWN of Zglobien. I have visited Sedziszow and met a former neighbor who survived the war. Tobias died shortly before the war, Frimet was killed by the Nazis (gassed in a truck). Two of my grandfather's brothers [Shmuel,Chaim/Herschel], and one sister [Pinya] also died in the war. He was able to bring over two other brothers [Moe, Walter] and one sister [Eva]. Another brother [Majer Kreinig] settled in Valanciennes, France but was deported to Auschwitz in Transport #4 from Pithiviers. I am very close to his daughter, Suzanne and her children who lives in Cambrai, France. Another sister, Millie [Mirel], first moved to Vienna and then London. She had three children. She and two of the children moved to Israel in the 1970's. The third child stayed in London (he intermarried and has nothing to do with his surviving sister).<br/>My grandmother, Sarah, was a Kreinik, daughter of Joseph (there were a lot of Josephs) and Anna. Joseph was probably from Zglobien [Tarn%C3%B3w]. Sarah was born in New York and was orphaned at age 9. She then went to live with another Joseph Kreinik [Yussel Flum] who was the uncle of Isidore. Joseph Kreinik was very nice but his wife [Sarah Levy] was very mean, making my grandmother's life growing up very difficult.<br/>Andrew<br/>
