Biography
Birth Emma Phillips was born in 1826 to John Phillips and Ann Cox. Baptized on 3 Jan 1831 at St Kew, Cornwall Emma PHILLIPS, John & Ann, Trewerthern, Labourer, Joint entry with Mary.[1]
Emigration: 19 November 1840, Plymouth, Devon - Departed on the ship, William Bryan bound for the new settlement of New Plymouth, New Zealand[2] On August 26 1844 Emma Phillips and Edward Tucker were married in New Zealand. [3]
Emma Tucker died aged 81 or 82 on 14 December1908 [4]. She is buried with her husband Edward in Havelock North Cemetery - Block C 23 [5]
